A Bad Mad Sad Day for Mama Bear

A Bad Mad Sad Day for Mama Bear

Mayra Calvani

Book blurb:
Little Bear offers Mama Bear various items to make her feel better, but she’s too busy to notice—until he gives her his super, so good, so very special dolly. Silly humor, alliteration, repetition, and onomatopoeia make this a fun read-aloud story. A celebration of the special love shared between mother and child. For ages 3-7.

Available as ebook, softcover and hardcover.

My Review:
Typically we don't read and review kids books, but its that time of the year and I was looking for books for my toddler for her. I was offered this book to review. I loved it, the illustrations are amazing! The details and  colors are so vibrant. The story was cute, but at the end some of the phrasing was above the audience this book was intended for. Though it would bring about good discussion for the older kids.  Overall I enjoyed this book and as a mom of 3 can relate to that kind of day. I know I have been guilty of ignoring the kids when stressed.
