Don't Touch by LIsa Oliver Review

Don't Touch
by Lisa Oliver
Genre: MM Paranormal Romance

Submissive wolf shifter Levi has met his mate, the one he wants to call Master.  The problem is the Master concerned wants him for nothing more than a regular Saturday night scene and thanks to the rules the man has put in place there is nothing Levi can do about it.
Thanks to the war Steel is a damaged wolf.  He knows Levi is his mate and wants nothing more than to claim him.  But to do that means spilling more secrets than Steel has ever been willing to share with anyone.  Does he have it in him to tell Levi what is going on, or should he release him to another Master at the club?
Two men who want each other - rules and secrets standing in their way.

I have to admit to having serious issues with this story. It frustrates me because the book had huge potential. I really liked the plot but honestly the D/s aspect kept getting in the way.
 ***************SPOILER ALERT*****************
The Dom Steel asked to be topped when he leaves and comes back, Once i can see to complete the mating bond but to ask for it to happen every time.  Doesn't fit. The Sub by the blurbs definition is more of a switch. He is a sub at the club because that is apparently what his Mate wants. When he felt the need to top he would find a human... Um thats not a sub. The conflict in the plot i think would have been suffecient just getting over Steel issues, adding in the attack by the two wolves was hasty. It wasnt well put into action in my opinion. It could have played out better and been a huge conflict and enhanced the story. The author hints at Levi having dark secrets but never realized idea.  The constant use of boy, sometimes it sounded like the author was switching from 1st person to 3rd person in  a sentence.

What I did like, I loved that the characters were flawed and able to move past it. I loved the relationship between Levi and Tony/Max and Pearson and Steel. I think the D/s just pulled to much from the story. I am very sorry to say I wasnt a huge fan.
